Position
We are seeking a On-site Field Network Technician to join our service team in the Denver, CO area.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of network connectivity, network security and Wi-Fi networks.
- Good understanding of Windows servers environment and common operating systems
- Ability to work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)
- Ability to lead clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions)
- Aggressive problem solver
- Ability to travel locally to different clients
- Ability to communicate through phone / email / written documentation
Qualifications
- Previous network field experience
- Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (SMTP, FTP, SMB, Ports, TCP/IP)
- Knowledge and hands-on experience providing support to users using Windows Desktop Operating Systems and other mainstream Microsoft applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with clients
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Bonus Skill Set
- Good understanding of Mac OS environment
- CompTIA Network+ certified
- Previous experience working in managed IT services
- Basic understanding of VOIP technology
