Position Summary
PTC is seeking an experienced Telecom Construction Market Manager to lead and expand our Arizona operations. This individual will be responsible for building and managing teams, developing customer relationships, overseeing daily operations, and driving profitable growth throughout the state.
The ideal candidate has extensive telecom construction experience and a proven track record managing aerial, underground, splicing, and fiber deployment projects.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and lead telecom construction teams throughout Arizona.
- Oversee all operational activities including:
- HDD / Underground Construction
- Aerial Fiber Construction
- Fiber Splicing
- Microtrenching
- Recruit, train, and manage field supervisors and crews.
- Develop relationships with customers, utilities, municipalities, and subcontractors.
- Manage project execution, budgets, schedules, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Identify growth opportunities and support business development efforts.
- Track KPIs, production, and financial performance.
- Report directly to executive leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of telecom construction experience.
- 3+ years in an operations, construction management, or market management role.
- Strong understanding of fiber optic network construction.
- Experience managing aerial, HDD, splicing, and underground construction operations.
- Proven experience building and leading teams.
- Strong financial, operational, and project management skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Arizona.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing telecom industry relationships in Arizona.
- Experience working with major telecom providers and fiber network operators.
- Knowledge of permitting, ROW, and utility coordination.
- Experience scaling operations and opening new markets.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
