Palm Point Behavioral Health is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Outpatient Therapist!
The Outpatient Therapist is The IOP Therapist is responsible for performing social service functions to include assisting clients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs while enabling them through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social services for consumers/families receiving care. The IOP therapist will provide crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, group therapy, treatment planning and discharge planning. The therapist serves as an integral member of the treatment team and is also responsible for case management of consumer’s internal/external support systems and responding effectively to requests for information on a wide range of human service needs. Must be able to effectively work with patients of any age population and demonstrate an understanding of normal growth and development as well as developmental stages and must possess knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, varying hours.

Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related behavioral health discipline required AND LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC, or LMHCI - Licensed in the State of FL
- A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
- Experience with structured environments or high acuity populations (behavioral health, crisis intervention, or group facilitation settings) preferred.
