What You'll Do:
As a Manufacturing Engineer II, you'll help improve manufacturing processes, support equipment validation, troubleshoot production challenges, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Support manufacturing process development, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and execute equipment and process validation activities, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
- Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, process transfers, and manufacturing startup activities.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues.
- Support new product introductions by helping prepare manufacturing processes, documentation, and production readiness.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend process improvements that increase quality and efficiency.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, validation protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in risk assessments, change control activities, and audit preparation to support regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with global teams on engineering projects that improve manufacturing performance across multiple locations.
- Travel up to 50% to manufacturing facilities, service centers, suppliers, and customer locations to support engineering projects and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
- Experience supporting equipment and process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and production processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, or process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as ISO, GMP, or GDP.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, maintenance, or operations teams.
- Familiarity with equipment commissioning, process transfers, and change control.
- Experience with temperature-controlled packaging or cold chain products.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, or structured problem-solving tools.
