What You'll Do
- Strategic Routing: Coordinate our daily delivery operations, building and organizing smart routes so our drivers succeed and orders arrive on schedule.
- Customer Communication: Proactively connect with customers across multiple channels (phone, email, and text) to coordinate delivery windows, share arrival updates, and deliver "raving fan" service. Maintain detailed, up-to-date records of all client interactions in our tracking systems.
- Order & Paperwork Audit: Act as the final line of defense for accuracy by verifying delivery documentation, financing contracts, and protection plans. Utilize your technical proficiency in spreadsheets and computer tools to audit data, catch errors, and streamline processes before trucks leave the dock.
- Expectation Management: Provide honest, empathetic, and clear updates to customers regarding shipping timelines or delays, keeping them informed through every step of the back-order process.
- Real-Time Problem Solving: Navigate delivery hurdles as they happen, collaborating closely with the warehouse team, showroom staff, and customers to find fast, positive solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in scheduling, logistics, dispatch, or high-level administrative customer support. Experience within a call center, logistics hub, or client services environment is a huge plus (High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred).
- Geography Savvy: Strong natural knowledge of local geography and tri-state areas to build efficient, logical driving routes.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional focus and accuracy when handling customer data, auditing financial paperwork, and tracking logistics.
- System Proficiency: Comfortable navigating Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and internal tracking systems to manage and organize daily delivery data.
- Composure & Service: A calm, professional communicator who thrives under pressure. You demonstrate exceptional phone etiquette, using active listening, empathy, and sharp problem-solving techniques to keep the customer’s experience top-of-mind.
