- Work as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy.
- Work in our frozen warehouse with your primary duty being a Certified Lift Operator (CLO).
What We’re Looking For:
- Capable of working as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy
- Tolerance for working in a frozen, -20oF environment. Hey, we give you a freezer suit and more frequent breaks!
- Commitment to living Perry’s “values”
- Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific Safe Quality Food requirements and Safety Guidelines
- Flexibility to work daily overtime as needed
- Ablity to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work in an extreme cold environment reaching temperatures below -20oF
- Capable of pushing/pulling up to 2000 lbs. for an extended amount of time (on carts, dollies, pallets) within temperatures of -20oF
- Must be able to stand and walk for upwards of 12 miles per shift while maintaining footing on icy/slippery floors
- Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to over the head at times
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Successfully complete OSHA certification for powered industrial vehicles
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Primary duty as a Certified Lift Operator (CLO)
