The Role

The Commercial HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining light commercial HVAC systems — such as rooftop units, split systems, and ductless systems — at commercial customer locations while delivering exceptional 5-star customer service. This role focuses on light commercial applications and does not involve chillers or large-tonnage equipment.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete light commercial HVAC service and repair calls — including rooftop units, split systems, ductless systems, and unit heaters — accurately and efficiently, delivering high-quality workmanship on the first visit whenever possible
• Build strong rapport with business owners, property managers, and facility contacts by communicating findings clearly, presenting service options, and recommending solutions that best meet each customer’s business needs
• Deliver a consistently positive, 5-star customer experience during every interaction, reinforcing trust and long-term customer relationships
• Collaborate effectively with dispatch, sales, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal customer outcomes
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on light commercial systems, documenting findings and proactively identifying repair or replacement needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site and service vehicle at all times
• Participate actively in required training sessions, team meetings, and company events to support continuous improvement and professional development
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• Knowledge of Local HVAC Codes
• Ability to Make on the Job Decisions
• 2+ years of light commercial experience
• EPA Certification
• High School Diploma/GED
• Professional behavior and respectful communication with customers and coworkers
