The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for positions at Philabundance. The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a key partner and primary consultant to hiring managers, search committees, and the Human Resources team, while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement across recruitment and onboarding practices.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Strategize and manage the full hiring process with attention to time‑to‑fill goals, budget, compliance, and team development needs.
HRIS, Onboarding & Benefits Support
- Maintain moderate to high proficiency in HRIS functionality, preferably Paycom, including applicant tracking, employee records, and reporting.
Process Improvement & HR Support
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS workflows to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and compliance.
- Develop, document, and refine recruitment and onboarding processes and templates.
- At least three (3) years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in marketing, interviewing, presentation, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to learn and understand organizational business needs, workflows, and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, interview, evaluate, and recommend candidates.
- Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Experience using an HRIS platform, preferably Paycom, including onboarding and reporting.
- Comfortable engaging with candidates of diverse backgrounds and senior leadership.
- SHRM Certification a plus.
