Domain knowledge in healthcare or dental software is a strong plus. To succeed, this person must be a flexible, decisive leader who can set standards, build trust with a distributed team, and drive measurable quality outcomes across a fast-moving SaaS platform.
Job Duties

- Design, implement and maintain the automated testing framework for SaaS products.
- Mentor and train other team members on automation, quality practices and principles.
- Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, effort estimates, task breakdowns, and other team discussions.

- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to design and deploy new features.
- Learn about the latest tools and patterns consistent with your role.
- Lead, manage, and grow the outsourced QA team within Team Artemis, establishing clear standards, accountability, and a culture of quality across the extended team
- Architect and implement end-to-end test automation solutions using Playwright and Claude Code, covering smoke tests, regression suites, and full E2E workflows across Planet DDS SaaS products
- Drive adoption of AI-native testing practices across the engineering organization, including agentic test generation, AI-assisted defect triage, and Claude Code-based test automation workflows
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Claude Code-based test automation, programming and maintaining AI agents for test execution, coverage analysis, and quality reporting
- Collaborate across large, distributed engineering teams to ensure comprehensive end-to-end coverage of complex SaaS product workflows, from API layer through UI and integrations
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience in programming (ideally JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#)
- Experience with: Test case management techniques, technologies, and approaches.
- Experience with Jira & Zephyr Scale would be beneficial
- Knowledge of how to characterize different risk scenarios (Examples: functional/closed-box, boundary, verification and validation, acceptance, load, stress, performance, HA/DR)
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to engage throughout the department and the company to achieve goals
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or Anthropic AI APIs, including writing prompts, custom agents, or agentic workflows for engineering or testing use cases
