Responsibilities
The Ponce Banker is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by identifying client needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services. They process all transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, they support branch business development initiatives and growth objectives by promoting and cross selling banking products, collaborating with other departments to generate referrals, and ensuring timely completion of assigned training programs.
Essential Functions

Greet customers proactively and provide a seamless service experience.

Identify financial needs and recommend appropriate bank products and solutions, including deposits, loans, and cash management services.

Address customer inquiries via multiple communication channels and act as a liaison between departments.

Employees may be required to work at different branch locations based on business needs, including temporary or permanent transfers.

Establish new accounts, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Conduct monetary transactions using traditional and automated teller systems.

Process wire transfers while promoting self-service options.

Support community development by attending events.

Conduct customer follow-ups and periodic calls to enhance relationships.

Complete assigned training programs by the designated deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to all banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Ancillary Functions

Assures adherence to Bank policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory requirements.

- Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
Mandatory Training Curricula

Education/Training
A high school diploma, or equivalent, with an emphasis in a business curriculum.
