Career Program Specialist (Admissions Representative) – Put Your People Skills to Work

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Career Program Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective students, helping them explore career training options and determine if our programs are the right fit.
You will:
- Speak with prospective students by phone, in person, and virtually about career goals and educational options
- Guide applicants through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment
- Build trust through consultative, student-focused conversations — not high-pressure tactics
- Conduct campus tours and information sessions
- Accurately document student interactions and progress in our systems
- Collaborate with Financial Aid, Academic, and Student Services teams
- Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development
Minimum Requirements
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
- Comfort working with goals, follow-ups, and deadlines
- Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree
- Knowledge of post-secondary or career-focused education
