Compensation
$20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and interior components
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection work on RVs
- Install accessories and upgrades such as awnings, backup cameras, slide toppers, hitches, furniture, and other RV components
- Complete repair orders accurately and document diagnostics, parts used, and repairs performed
- Communicate with service advisors and managers regarding repair status, additional issues, and estimated completion times
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in training and stay current on RV products, systems, and repair techniques
Experience We’d Love to See
We are interested in candidates with backgrounds in:
- RV service
- Automotive repair
- Appliance repair
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- General maintenance
- Mechanical repair
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in repair, maintenance, mechanical, or technical service work
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in changing temperatures and shop conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and move heavier items with assistance
- Basic personal tools preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- RV industry experience
- Trade certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a related field
- RVTI, RVIA, or other industry certifications
- Experience with diagnostic systems and service documentation
