What you’ll do as a Prescient Solutions Network Engineer:
- Maintain, Configure and Secure our client's network infrastructure;
- Work cross-functionally across our client's enterprises between technology and the rest of their business to design and implement large scale solutions; and
- Implement Prescient Solutions' best practices.
*** The position is mostly remote, with project-based on-site requirements.***
Responsibilities of a Prescient Solutions Network Engineer:
- Supports both operational and engineering functions at our client sites;
- Troubleshoots and maintains client's IT infrastructures and network 24/7;
- Evaluates customer generated requirements and works with the clients to ensure the implementation meets the client's needs;
- Works with technicians and engineering groups at both Prescient Solutions and at the client locations to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required;
- Prepares operational and technical documentation;
- Mentors junior team members; and
- Performs other duties and assists with special projects as needed.
Requirements to be a Prescient Solutions Network Engineer:
- 5 - 8 years of experience configuring, installing, supporting, and maintaining network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers and firewalls;
- Proficient with Cisco Meraki-based networking;
- Able to work on-site in Pingree Grove, IL for projects;
- Able to balance multiple priorities concurrently; and
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
