REPORTS TO: Foreman – Refrigerant
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position has 5 or more years of experience and is considered to have mastery knowledge of refrigerant piping in HVAC applications and design. A Refrigerant technician III fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs all types of HVAC related refrigerant piping products and equipment. The Technician III also performs equipment startups and check outs.
- In-depth knowledge of refrigerant piping in commercial applications and design.
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair all types of HVAC related refrigerant piping products and equipment.
- Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
- 5 plus years of experience.
- Current journeyman license or able to obtain.
- OSHA training; uphold high standards of safety at all times.
- Experience with blueprint reading and layout.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to multi-task and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
- Requires 608 Universal EPA card.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
