Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 plus bonus
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 8-10+ employees
- Oversee an active pipeline of 100+ loans in process
- Manage the day to day process of the team - only providing the VP with necessary information - handle the business from origination to fund
- Also in charge of any process improvement - figure out how to do more, be better
- Seek out partnership contacts internally to get the job done (from secondary, to compliance, to underwriting and closing)
- Have a leadership acumen in mortgage that understands product, pricing, presentation, pipeline management, and be proactive
Qualifications
- Someone that is “Obsessed” with the mortgage. Wakes up each day with the mindset that they can push the envelope and do more, challenge themselves to improve the entire customer experience
- Experience in Mortgage Ops leadership (3+ years) - and managing a team
- Strong knowledge of Encompass
- Has their NMLS licensed or willing to get licensed
- Understand mortgage compliance (specially, RESPA, REG B, ATR/QM, ECOA, TILA)
- Knows how to price a loan – understands OB and PAR pricing
- Knowledge of Gov’t, Jumbo, Conv, Broker business
- Knows how to pre-approve a loan for a client
- Have ideas – think about ways to improve, discuss these ideas, and implement and track them
