Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking to work with a company that values your expertise and provides room to grow? Recycling Services of Florida is expanding our team and looking for a motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our service department.

What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections
- Pick up parts from local vendors and transport tools as needed
- Assist with welding and fabrication tasks
- Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and reliable
- Keep work areas clean and organized, following safety protocols
- Contribute to the improvement of service processes and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience as a diesel mechanic/technician required
- License: Valid driver’s license (CDL A preferred)
- Tools: Must have your own tools
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to lift 50+ lbs, welding/fabrication a plus
- Attitude: Team player, reliable, detail-oriented, safety-first mindset
- Environment: Able to work in a non-climate-controlled setting with weekend/overtime availability
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks and diesel equipment
- Forklift experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge
- Valid Drivers License
