We're growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to help lead our talented team of technicians.
About the Role
We are hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our electrical panel shop. This role will also supervise a team of technicians in the fabrication, assembly, and testing of electrical panels.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the assembly of electrical control panels, distribution panels, and field service.
- Organize, review, and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide the assembly process.
- Allocate work to team members.
- Oversee and participate in panel fabrication, wiring, and installation per specifications and drawings.
- Inspect completed panels to ensure they meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, supporting skill development, growth, and safety.
- Coordinate with project managers and departments to ensure on-time electrical panel delivery and provide regular or as-needed updates to the Production Manager.
- Manage material inventory, placing orders to prevent shortages and meet project timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or mechanical issues during panel assembly and testing.
QualificationsSkills
- Minimum of 5+ years working in an Electrical Panel Shop or related industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, wiring, and panel designs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to partner with clients, vendors, and other team members to deliver projects
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
