This Co-lead position of Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department is responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and operational management of the designated clinical unit or service line. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care through effective staffing, resource management, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Nurse Manager fosters a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement while aligning unit operations with organizational strategic priorities, quality outcomes, and financial stewardship. In response to staffing shortages, call-outs, or emergent operational needs, the Nurse Manager may provide direct clinical care to maintain safe patient care delivery.

• The role demands the ability to adapt to evolving clinical, operational, and organizational needs. Recent clinical practice experience is preferred to ensure readiness to provide direct patient care support when necessary.

Requirements:

• An associate’s degree in nursing is required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or willingness to pursue within a reasonable time-frame upon hire.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC and Moderate Sedation within one year.
• A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience and prior leadership experience is strongly preferred, with demonstrated ongoing clinical competence and progressive leadership responsibilities.

The pay range for this position is $52.50 to $60.82 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
