Duties: Travel is required between clinics in Illinois (Oaklawn, Orland Park, and Joliet) as needed to Indiana (Munster/Merrillville) office locations.

• Greet patients as they arrive at the medical facility.
• Verify a patient name and date of birth at all times.
• Evaluate and conduct eye exams.
• Assist with answering phone calls and scheduling appropriately or directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar when needed.
• Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents when needed.
• Assist the front desk with filing charts as needed and preparing the clinic for future clinic appointments.

Skills:

This position requires a professional demeanor and the ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a medical setting, and the ability to multitask and travel between clinics is an essential requirement for this position.
