General Responsibilities:
- Work in 2-4 person teams to complete weatherization jobs daily, taking direction from crew chief
- Install insulation, foam board, and complete air sealing in attics, knee walls, and crawlspaces
- Remove siding, drill holes, and blow insulation into exterior walls, often times working on ladders
- Install ventilation on roofs
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times
- Excellent people skills and focus on superior customer service
- Must be able to work on ladders, roofs, confined spaces and heights up to 40'
- Must be on-time daily, prepared, and ready to work
- Timely completion and accuracy of all work
- Working closely and harmoniously with other employees and be a team player
- Performing and documenting complete operational checks for all equipment
- Adherence to safety and health regulations as required by OSHA, and all company policies
- Possession of a valid Driver's License (preferred, but not required)
- Successful completion of pre-employment background screen and drug test
- Ability to perform overtime and/or on call duties as required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Arrive at our office daily by 6:30am to clean and load the truck for the day
- Experience in the Mass Save Program or other energy efficiency programs is a plus
