We are looking for a technically sharp, self-motivated IT Systems Technician to join a lean team during a period of growth — a new milk processing plant, enterprise data integration, and expanding artificial intelligence initiatives. This role has more depth than a standard IT help desk position. You will be responsible for infrastructure work from day one while building toward a larger role supporting major projects over the next few years. While we are open to candidates with varying levels of experience and will provide training, you will be expected to show up ready to learn, contribute, and take ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure environments including identity, access, and cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain scripts for software deployment, automation, and system configuration
- Lead patch management cycles and ensure systems remain current and secure
- Perform advanced troubleshooting using Event Viewer, diagnostic tools, and system logs
- Drive cybersecurity initiatives including CVE identification, mitigation, and security hardening
- Support help desk tickets and serve as a technical resource for the broader IT team
- Collaborate with IT leadership on data integration and upcoming milk plant systems support
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT experience in systems or infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and root cause identification
- Experience with enterprise patch management tools and processes
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity, including CVEs, security frameworks, and system hardening
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Azure environments
- Proficiency in PowerShell or equivalent scripting for automation and deployment
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated initiative in executing tasks and projects
- Understanding of enterprise data environments or systems integration preferred
