Job Description
We are looking for a customer-oriented showroom assistant who will learn the daily showroom operations as well as resolve any after sales issues, under supervision of the Manager.
Sales team assistance
- Customer interaction: Greet customers and inform them of our services and product information if designers are occupied with another client
- Help store manager with showroom operations
- Assist designers with clients’ orders from start to finish, updating clients with eta, filing SAVs to air table etc.
- Answer direct phone calls, with detailed information and ensure timely follow up.
- Responds to emails and other correspondence in timely manner.
- Coordinate with the accounting team if necessary.
- Providing general showroom support to ensure efficient daily operations of the showroom.
Marketing and sales tools
- Maintain materials library and update vendor catalogs/ pricelists. Contact vendors for sample requests/information on products
- Maintain showroom’s tearsheet library
- Tagging barcode (accessories), store checkup (videos)
- Assist with inventory maintenance, including tagging barcodes and conducting store checkups. (including assisting showroom inventory that is conducted twice a year).
- Create missing price tags and ensure correct placement.
Showroom layout and administrative tasks
- Merchandising/layout of the store upon approval/ request by the store manager
- Store floor plan update
- Showroom supplies
- Field telephone calls
Requirements
- Prior administrate experience is plus
- Excellent communication skills and problem solving
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel
- Proficient in data entry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
