- Identifying professional development priorities by location/implementation within school and staff parameters
- Resource at school level, such areas as due process, strategizing development of IEPs and evaluations, serving as administrative designee
- Teaming with the RRT chair and due process office support staff for system efficiencies, mentoring, and staff development
- Team across schools, Office of Student Services, and with Office of Educational Equity in this work
- Other duties as assigned by Principal or the Executive Director/Assistant Director of Student Services
- MN Special Education Teaching or Related Services License is required
- Knowledge of School District Content Standards and Benchmarks, replacement curriculum(s)
- Understanding of specialized instruction and data analysis
- Broad understanding of special education, including due process, MN and federal laws and rules
- Capacity to develop broad leadership across areas identified; prioritize work within the time parameters
- Resilient and positive personal attributes
