- Draft, proofread and copy edit written materials (letters, proposals, budgets, reports, briefing materials, and promotional pieces)
- Update and maintain accurate records in databases and tracking systems including an online room reservations system
- Organize site visits and assist with development of donor research and events outreach
- Responsible for maintaining database records and assisting with general office duties (scheduling, phone, mail, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree required- Must have strong oral, written, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills, as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work under tight deadlines
- Must be capable of fielding incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence directed to the team and liaise with other departments/teams
- Experience in external relations and/or events and/or development preferable, and a team-player attitude is essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and fundraising databases necessary (Blackbaud CRM or The Raiser’s Edge)
- Must be available to work evenings, early mornings, and occasional weekend events as necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, website properties maintained through a CMS (Content Management System), and email and social media marketing tools a plus.
