- Review project plans, specifications, bid documents, and site conditions.
- Perform roof inspections, measurements, and project takeoffs.
- Prepare detailed estimates for:
- Commercial roof repairs
- Preventative maintenance programs
- Reroof projects
- New construction roofing opportunities
- Develop scopes of work and professional customer proposals.
- Analyze project requirements to ensure accurate pricing and profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Property managers
- General contractors
- Consultants
- Building owners
- Facility managers
- Coordinate pricing and material sourcing with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers.
- Attend customer meetings, site walks, and pre-bid conferences as required.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the estimating and sales process.
- Work closely with operations and production teams to ensure seamless project handoff.
- Maintain organized records of bids, estimates, and project opportunities.
- Track estimating activity and maintain an active project pipeline.
- Assist with supplementing insurance-related roofing claims when applicable.
- Support project teams with technical information and scope clarification.
- Stay current on commercial roofing systems, products, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate evolving roofing technologies and solutions to better serve customers.
- Maintain a strong understanding of building envelope systems and roofing applications.
- Experience in commercial roofing estimating, project management, sales, or related construction roles preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including:
- TPO
- PVC
- EPDM
- Modified Bitumen
- Metal Roofing
- Roof Coatings
- Asphalt Shingles
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience with estimating software, Xactimate, or roofing CRM platforms preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
