One Year Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Economics and Finance at Saint Peter’s University invites applications for a One Year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall of 2026. Candidates should preferably have already earned (or are near the completion of) a Ph.D. in economics.
Candidates should be committed to excellence in both teaching and scholarly research. The successful candidate will teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in microeconomics and elective topics such as, but not limited to, investment and financial statement analysis; econometrics and financial modeling; and derivatives markets. Candidates should also be willing to teach introductory principles-level courses when needed. Strict preference will be given to the candidate with a teaching and research agenda involving theories of value and distribution, and the willingness to administer the Department’s Student Managed Investment Fund will be a significant asset.
