- Provides professional occupational therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate professional judgment.
- Assignments may include working with skilled nursing facility patients, senior housing tenants, outpatients or home care patients either at a Saint Therese location or under contract with other locations.
Qualifications Required:
Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program. Licensed in Minnesota.
Experience Required:
A minimum of one year experience as an occupational therapist assistant
Experience Preferred:
- Experience working with seniors desired
- Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision
- High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
- Maintained awareness and sensitivity to client needs, interests and abilities
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision as a float staff
- Proven history of good judgment, integrity and consideration to others
- High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position including ability to turn, lift, and carry
