About the Position
We are currently hiring a licensed therapist to join our Outpatient team as a DBT Specialist & Program Supervisor. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about helping adults build emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and healthy relationship skills through DBT-focused individual and group therapy. Clinicians in this role will support adults transitioning from higher levels of care while working in a supportive, collaborative environment that encourages clinical growth, creativity, and meaningful client connection. In addition to the primary clinical role, Outpatient Program Supervisor is an opportunity for those who are interested in leading an outpatient team with passion and skills.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate 90-minute DBT group therapy sessions for adults (18+) within Sanare's Outpatient Program
- Lead a minimum of two virtual DBT groups each week (Monday and Thursday), with one morning group (9:00–10:30 a.m.) and one evening group (5:30–7:00 p.m.)
- Maintain availability to facilitate an in-person DBT group from our King of Prussia location as needed
- Provide individual DBT therapy for clients transitioning from IOP or for individuals in need of short-term support while awaiting IOP placement
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 15 clients per week (15–20 clients on roster)
- Complete consultations for individuals recommended for individual therapy (availability for 8–10 consultations per week)
- *If interested in program supervisor position: 2 group supervisions run per month, availability for consultation between group supervision
What You Bring
- Formal training or certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- At least two years of experience providing DBT-focused clinical services (preferred)
- Experience facilitating group therapy and utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Active mental health license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
