- Understanding of Internal Classification of Diseases (ICD) and Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology

- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Word, Excel, and TEAMS).

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare, medical office, insurance verification, patient access, scheduling, or revenue cycle functions, including working knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers' compensation benefits and eligibility.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
