Savvee Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Public Relations Specialist to support our federal client onsite in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate assists in the planning and execution of comprehensive public relations campaigns, collaborates with clients and internal teams, and supports the development and coordination of communications products across media channels, while maintaining consistent messaging and tracking activities. They will also contribute to media relations, digital content creation, event support, and day-to-day communications tasks in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assisting in the planning for the strategic direction and development of comprehensive PR campaigns.
• Working with client and project team members.
• Supporting execution of public relations and communications activities in alignment with program objectives.
• Assisting in drafting and editing communications products, including emails, outreach content, press materials, and internal communications.
• Providing support to communications campaigns, including coordinating content and assisting with implementation activities.
• Assisting with media relations support, including preparing materials and coordinating responses.
• Supporting development of content for digital platforms, including web, social media, and other outreach channels.
• Coordinating with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency of messaging across communications products.
• Assisting with tracking communications activities and maintaining records or reporting inputs as needed.
• Supporting eventrelated communications, including preparing materials and assisting with coordination.
• Responding to assigned communications tasks and adhering to deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Three or more years of demonstrated experience in assisting in the planning for the strategic direction and development of comprehensive PR campaigns AND working with client and project team members
• Currently holds or has the able to obtain a DHS Fitness Determination
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s suitability
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AIassisted tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated selfstarter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
