Position Summary
We are seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Florida to join our dynamic and growing team. As an SLP at Sequoia Care, you’ll assess and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Whether you're looking for consistent hours or a flexible schedule, we offer a range of opportunities to suit your lifestyle and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech-language therapy plans
- Deliver direct treatment in senior living setting
- Address speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing needs
- Educate and train residents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff
- Document resident progress and revise treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in the state of Florida (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Senior living or similar experience preferred
- Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
- CPR certification (as required by facility or state)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for improving residents’ quality of life through evidence-based care
