JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Driver

Location: Las Vegas
Department: Rental Operations
Status: Non-Exempt, hourly
Reports To: Logistics Manager

Position Summary

The Driver plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and timely local transportation of equipment, materials, and rental assets. This position requires safe operation of a box truck for deliveries and pickups, excellent route planning to optimize time and productivity, and strong customer service skills to represent the company in a professional manner. The Driver must work collaboratively with the Logistics Manager and team members, assist with loading and unloading, maintain accurate delivery documentation, and uphold all safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safelyoperatea box truck to make local deliveries and pickupsin accordance withestablished schedules.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery and pickup routes to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
• Assistwith loading and unloading trucks when needed, ensuring all items are properly secured for transport.
• Maintainaccuraterecords of deliveries and pickups, obtainingsignaturesand documenting discrepancies.
• Communicate promptly with theLogisticsManagerregardingchallenges or schedule changes.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws andcompany safety standards at all times.
• Perform routine inspections of the box truck, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
• Support other reasonable tasks assigned by management to enhance transportation operations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, meeting all legal and company requirements.
• Must be willing to have flexible hours, willing to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Prior experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage routes and schedules.
• Strong attention to detail formaintainingrecords and documentation.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Flexibility toworkvariable schedules asrequired.
• Willingness to complete required training or certifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to75lbson a regular basis.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing in and out of trucks.
• Ability to secure loads using straps, chains, and other tie-down equipment.
• Ability tooperatepallet jacks, dollies, and othermaterial-handlingequipment as needed.
• Comfortable working in varying environments, including outdoors, warehouses, and client sites, in all weather conditions.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving, with frequent use of hands and arms tooperatevehicle controls.
• Mustmaintainalertness and focus for extended driving periods.
