Duties

- Demonstrate jewelry products through engaging product demos, highlighting features and craftsmanship
- Assist customers with selecting jewelry pieces that match their preferences and needs
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
- Conduct product knowledge sessions to educate customers about jewelry materials, care, and styling tips
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing prompt and helpful responses
- Maintain the cash drawer accurately during shifts and perform retail math calculations for transactions
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging jewelry displays to attract attention and promote featured items
- Assist in inventory management by participating in stock counts and product demos for team training
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry, fashion accessories, or related fields such as grocery store experience or other customer service roles
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in guiding team members or managing store operations
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math calculations to ensure smooth transactions
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and cash register operations
- Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining excellent customer service standards
