We’re seeking an Associate Interconnection Engineer to join our growing team and support the interconnection process for solar and energy storage projects. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy, utility interconnections, and power systems. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to help advance projects from application through approval.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of interconnection applications.
- Support negotiations with utilities on interconnection requirements, costs, and timelines.
- Help manage and maintain utility customer portal systems.
- Assist in reviewing and drafting one-line diagrams and site plans.
- Conduct research on utility infrastructure, tariffs, and interconnection policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Internship experience in interconnection, utility coordination, or renewable energy, preferred
