Job Description: Sonshine Therapy is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator/ Scheduler for our fast paced, large pediatric therapy clinic in Savannah, GA. The candidate must possess the ability to provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks including answering phone, making notes in an electronic EMR system, and scheduling patients for multiple therapy services. Time management, communication, critical thinking, ability to follow directions, and being detailed oriented are required. THIS IS NOT AN ENTERY LEVEL MEDICAL OFFICE POSITION.
Job Requirements:
- MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE of 3 YEARS or more on the SAME JOB
- Provides administrative direction of the daily activities of Operations front office with the primary duty being fast paced scheduling of children for multiple therapies.
- Enforcing attendance policies.
- Phone calls to patients parents to ensure they are a good fit for our therapy practice.
- Demonstrates a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor while he/she assists patients parents in person and over the phone.
- Illustrates efficiency regarding patient and doctor inquiries by responding to their needs in a timely manner.
- Accepts account payments toward balances on occasion. Most payments are completed automatically.
- Scans all documents and enters electronic notes into the practice files accurately and consistently.
- Handles Patient and Customer complaints or directs the patient to the office manager.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality when servicing patients.
- Supports marketing and promotion initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
