Job Summary

The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This role is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and supportive first impression for residents, families, visitors, and vendors while assisting with non-clinical needs and enhancing the overall resident and family experience. The Concierge plays a key role in customer service, communication, and coordination within the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and guests in a courteous, compassionate, and professional manner
• Serve as the primary point of contact
• Assist residents and families with general questions, directions, and facility information
• Coordinate visitation logistics and ensure compliance with facility policies and safety procedures
• Support admissions, discharges, and tours by welcoming new residents and families and assisting as directed
• Communicate resident or visitor concerns to appropriate departments promptly and professionally
• Monitor lobby and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, activities, and administration to enhance resident satisfaction
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and facility privacy policies
• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations and resident experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or senior care preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interact compassionately with elderly residents and their families
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Basic computer skills (email, phone systems, scheduling software)
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Hours 9am-5pm
