We operate in a fully air-conditioned facility, multiple shifts Monday-Thursday (standard "4/10" schedule) with overtime as needed on Fridays and/or Saturdays. We are currently seeking Production Operators / Feeder Set up who are interested in building components essential to aerospace, defense, medical and commercial applications. Employees perform routine and/or repetitive operations in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures or methods. This position may require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation.

As a Production Operator you will assemble, disassemble, solder, and repair electronic assemblies in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures or methods. This position may require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation.

What a Day Looks Like:

• Will be required to load and unload auto-insertion equipment feeders (SMT, Axial, etc.). May also maintain machines and equipment used in the assigned function. Will be required to use computers and other job-related computer equipment as well as proprietary software and ERP/MRP software. Requisition articles to fill incoming orders and cut stock to size to fill order. Mark identifying codes, figures or letters on articles.
• Read and work from assembly processes, procedures, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Work with mechanical and/or electrical assemblies involving fixed indicating meters, in-circuit test/functional test, marking machines, jigs & fixtures, packaging, wire cutting, stripping & twisting equipment, various types of fastening devices involving power operations, hand tools and gauges (fixed, micrometers, calipers, rules).
• May assemble and/or repair printed wiring assemblies (pwa), subassemblies, instruments, and final assemblies of various components utilizing a wide range of tools, work processes and skills to approved documented procedures/specifications.
• May be required to handle, mix and test hazardous chemicals.
• May perform inspection tasks.
• May kit and pack printed wiring board assemblies.
• Initiate and maintain accurate paperwork and records as required by job.
• Responsible for daily cleanup of all assigned work areas.
• May interact with computer to enter/extract data.
• All other duties as assigned.

• We are an ITAR Controlled Facility; all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• High school graduate or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.
• Ability to add and subtract fractions and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers and scales.
• Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to solve practical problems and/or interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Must maintain ESD Precautions Standards certification in areas/facilities where required.
• Must be able to pass J-STD certification course and maintain solder certification to operate certain pieces of equipment.
• May be required to have previous experience with hand tool operation.
• May require entry to mid-level computer skills.
• May be required to lift to 25 lbs. as required by the job task.

Working Hours are 3 pm-1:30 am Monday -Thursday, four shifts of 10 hours per day. $1.25/hr shift differential.
