Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, tracking, and distributing materials, products,within a warehouse, manufacturing facility to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Move materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems.
- Organize and stock materials in warehouses or production areas.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Support production teams by delivering materials as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (often up to 50 lbs or more).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Shift:
7:00 am- 3:30 pm, typical. Willingness to work overtime(after hours and weekends)as needed.
Our good-faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $19.33 to $23.66. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a highly competitive benefits package.
