Spread Bagelry, Philadelphia's own Montreal Style Wood Fired Bagelry is searching for a Barista at our Wynnewood, PA location!

Cross training as a linecook is ideal for this position.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in working with a premium coffee brand serving elevated hospitality and product to our clients. If you or someone you know is looking for a fun filled atmosphere in a concept that focuses on food quality, guest experience and above all else people, then we want to hear from you. Weekends are required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, take orders, & accept payments using our POS
• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
• Provide customers with menu options, details, and suggestions as needed
• Maintain a clean and well stocked work area, utensils, and equipment
• Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls
• Train staff as needed; work cross functional with back of house staff

Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years' experience as a Barista
• Experience in the Restaurant highly preferred; previous customer service experience required
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional listening and communication skills
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and hospitality excellence
• Ability to work weekend shifts as needed

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
