Stark State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time instructor to join our Business, Engineering, and Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
Instruct welding courses at assigned locations.
Teach welding safety, material preparation, cutting, and joining techniques.
Instruct students in welding similar and dissimilar metals.
Provide hands-on instruction in welding safety, material preparation, cutting, and joining techniques.
Teach gas and electrical welding processes, including oxygen/acetylene and AC/DC electric welding.
Develop and maintain course syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance, grade assignments and tests, and submit grades by established deadlines.
Maintain accurate attendance, safety, and academic records
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, lab procedures, and safety standards.
Evaluate and grade student assignments and tests.
Communicate with department leadership and support student learning as needed.
To Be Considered, You'll Need:
A high school diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
Five years of field experience in fabricating and welding is required.
A valid CWI and/or AWS 3G and/or 6G certification is required.
Good communication and presentation skills are required.
Experience and/or certification with specialty metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium are a plus.
