MLS – Laboratory - Full Time

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO that focuses on personalized care. What to expect as an MLS:

• Provide clinical testing in all areas of the general laboratory for diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Perform quality control.
• Analyze results and correlating to standard values.
• Evaluate procedural changes under supervisory direction.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Perform phlebotomy and clerical duties, as well as train students.

Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Technician-Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist – Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Must be qualified as high complexity testing personnel under CLIA regulations.
• Preferably, applicant must have at least one year of clinical experience working in the Laboratory
• Current Medical Laboratory Science certification with American Society for Clinical Pathology or equivalent nationally recognized certifying organization is preferred.
