Role Summary
As a Dairy Sales Account Manager, you will provide consultative sales and support to dairy accounts in New York. You will demonstrate the value of STgenetics’ program offerings to increase and maintain sales in the east region. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have an established network of dairy connections, be goal driven to surpass sales targets, have experience in consultative sales, and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with clients. This is a remote position only.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase existing sales by identifying new targets, demonstrating value proposition, and providing outstanding genetic, reproductive, and farm management consultation to optimize customer profitability.
- Grow and strengthen existing client relationships through excellent customer service, value-added services, and technical support.
- Build STgenetics’ image on the dairy as a respected member of the dairy management team, helping to enhance profitability through genetic progress, optimized reproductive success, and technology implementation.
- Develop written and digital reports to promote STgenetics as a leader in optimizing profitability for dairies on their genetic, reproductive and management programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy/Animal Science or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of consultative sales experience
- Expertise of dairy businesses, or some dairy background required
- Outstanding communication skills in English are required; the ability to communicate in Spanish preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge and experience with large, progressive dairy herds
