Summary of Primary Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and publish Daily Operations Orders to ensure that operations manpower resources applied to meet objectives. 2. Maintain equipment status, review maintenance work orders, and set maintenance work priorities using the plant maintenance module in SAP. 3. Report on site Drawdown and Fill Readiness status using the Daily Site Readiness Report and ORCA Drawdown Readiness checklist and Fill Checklist monthly. 4. Track milestones and WADs to ensure that completion levels are above the target performance indicators. 5. Serve as the Operations or Planning Section Chief in the Incident Command Structure. 1. Oversee the activities of Operations personnel during all phases of their daily activity. 2. Oversee, coordinate, and approve schedules for the activities for Operations, and Workover personnel to ensure that the integrity of the cavern/well systems are protected, tested, and maintained in accordance with DOE Orders and State Regulations. 3. Provides assistance and direction to operating crews during off-duty periods to ensure safe and efficient 24/7 operations. 4. Perform physical inspections of facilities and initiate action to get discrepancies corrected. 5. Perform trending and analysis of operational data to explain deviations, develop strategies or procedures to solve problems 6. Oversee the implementation Safe Work Permit program. 6. Monitor employee performance. Prepare or perform employee assessments/evaluations and documents for formal progressive corrective actions. Prepare or participate in the preparation of training material. Perform or oversee employee training. 7. Perform, assist in, or support the investigation of accidents, incidents, anomalies. 8. Oversee the site crude oil accountability process. Set and track performance measures to ensure compliance with DOE requirements. 1. Coordination of activities with maintenance planning group, maintenance, and construction contractors to develop and approve work schedules. Ensure that work activities are conducted with the minimal interruption to site operations while maximizing the ability of the organization performing the work to get the job done. 2. Provide input for the preparation of site O&M, Major Maintenance and Construction budgets 1. Attend meetings (Morning staff , Maintenance update, Weekly planning, Monthly Safety Council, Quarterly Emergency Planning Group, Pre- Fluid Movement Coordination, CEC, CRC, Design Review, Pre-Bid, Pre-Construction, Readiness Review, Green Room, and other meetings as required 2. Participates in MOC, DOE, VPP, 9001, 14001 and third party audits and finding resolutions. 3. Provides notification, assistance, information and reports to the NOLA OCC as requested.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Process Operations Management preferred) and 5 yrs of operations experience with at least 2 yrs of supervisory or management experience. HS Diploma/GED and 10 yrs of Operations experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 2 yrs of supervisory or management experience is required. Must be familiar with a variety of oil and gas or petrochemical field concepts, practices and procedures
