Substitute Teacher Service Inc is seeking a PA Certified Principal Substitute/Building Substitute to cover assignments in the Kindergarten Center within the Southeast Delco School District. The candidates position is primarily a Building Substitute; however, when the principal is absent, the individual will serve as acting principal. Because of those responsibilities, the candidate must hold a valid Principal/Administrative certification. This position is needed Monday- Friday. The pay rate is $175 per day, paid through Substitute Teacher Service Inc.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic School Principal Substitute / Building Substitute to step into leadership roles within K-12 schools on an as-needed basis. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead classrooms, support school operations, and ensure a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular principal or administrator. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, educational expertise, and a passion for fostering student success.

Responsibilities

• Assume full leadership responsibilities in the school during assigned shifts, including managing staff and overseeing daily operations
• Implement curriculum development strategies to ensure instructional quality and consistency
• Supervise classroom activities, ensuring adherence to educational standards and policies
• Facilitate professional development sessions for school staff to promote continuous improvement
• Manage school administrative tasks such as budgeting, record keeping, and compliance with educational regulations
• Support special education law requirements and ensure inclusive practices are maintained
• Engage with students, staff, parents, and community members through effective public speaking and communication skills

Experience

• Prior experience in school administration or as a school administrative director is highly preferred
• Demonstrated management and personnel supervision skills within educational settings
• Extensive K-12 teaching experience with classroom management expertise
• Knowledge of educational compliance, regulation standards, and special education law
• Experience facilitating professional development in schools and evaluating faculty performance
• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on instructional leadership in early childhood education and childhood development
