Position Title: Line Service Technician
Compensation: Hourly/Eligible for Fuel Bonus and Call Out Fees
Main Functions: This position handles all aircraft and customer needs on the ramp.
Reports To: FBO Manager
Duties:
- Maintain awareness of all inbound flights by using FlightBridge/FlightAware. Communicate with other personnel to ensure that inbound aircraft are met promptly by Line Personnel. Line Personnel should be in position with required equipment before beginning marshaling.
- Monitor Unicom and Tower frequencies using hand held radios to be aware of inbound aircraft needs.
- Meet and park all arriving aircraft, place wheel chocks as required and departure rugs at aircraft exits. Place wingtip cones adjacent to each aircraft wing.
- Assist arriving customers with luggage, ramp transportation if needed and any other reasonable request made.
- Obtain fuel orders and any additional services requested by aircraft pilot and complete duties as requested. Complete delivery ticket on each fueling event.
- Provide completed fuel delivery ticket to CSR individual for input into accounting system. In the event the CSR is unavailable, line service personnel will complete invoicing in accounting system and collect payment.
- Maintain constant knowledge of fuel levels on trucks and fuel farm. Refill fuel trucks at appropriate levels and notify manager when fuel a order needs to be placed. Maintains daily fuel farm records and inspects daily.
- Maintain air pressure checks on tires, light maintenance to vehicles and equipment. Assist in heavier mechanical jobs when required. Create and maintain maintenance logs on all vehicles and equipment. Appropriately notifying Supervisor when maintenance issues arise.
- In the absence of a CSR, Line Supervisor Personnel will answer incoming phone calls and assist customers at the front desk, maintaining a professional and courtesy demeanor in all conversations. Do not disclose Summit, EAS or other customers business to anyone but your Supervisor unless instructed to share.
- Act as a liaison between rental car companies and customers providing transportation as requested. Coordinating with local Hertz for additional or special car needs. Assisting customer with courtesy cars.
- Maintain complimentary beverages and snacks when CSR is not available.
- Periodically check Terminal building for neatness and cleanliness.
- Perform any duties as assigned by FBO Manager
Additional Duties:

Work Requirements:
- Full Time Line Personnel work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Full Time employees will work either a ten hour or eight hour schedule, lunch can be taken on the clock, however, you are still required to work through lunch.
- Part Time Line Personnel work various hours Sunday through Saturday. Occasionally extended hours for special events or vacation coverage may be required.
- This position may be required to work overtime with paid compensation, Supervisor authorization required.

- Ability to learn and understand fueling and towing requirements for all aircraft serviced
- Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday/Sunday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Must have reliable transportation
- Full Time Employees Eligible for Benefits after 90 day probationary period
