The Department of Business at SUNY Oneonta invites applications for a Lecturer of Supply Chain Management for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a one-year appointment with an anticipated start date in the coming months, and includes the opportunity to apply for a permanent appointment at a later time. This position offers the chance to join a collaborative academic community dedicated to student success and applied learning. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Supply Chain Management and related areas, and contributing to departmental service activities as needed.
The Department of Business is part of the School of Liberal Arts and Business and is AACSB accredited. It is distinguished by small classes, highly accessible faculty, teamwork and collaboration, and information technology-supported classrooms.

- Teaching undergraduate courses in:
- Operations Management
- Logistics Management
- Project Management
- Enterprise Resource Planning
- Fundamentals of Management
- And other courses as determined by departmental and school needs
- Providing campus and community service

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Supply Chain Management and related areas.
- Potential to meet the Department's qualification criteria for AACSB standards, which may include scholarly academic, practice academic, scholarly practitioner, or instructional practitioner classifications.
Preferred:
- Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching in higher education.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching in business programs that emphasize sustainability, management principles, and preparation of students for success in a global business environment.
- Current research activity or relevant professional/industry experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations and/or using inclusive or multicultural teaching pedagogies.
