- Supervise daily site operations, including safety compliance in accordance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations.
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with all construction regulations.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost estimation using Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity before work begins.
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members regarding project progress and issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, Management tools, and Construction scheduling platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction safety management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations including blueprint reading, quality control inspections, and safety protocols.
- Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Familiarity with managing contracts, budgets, project scheduling, and construction estimating processes.
- Valid certifications in OSHA safety training; additional certifications such as Ohmmeter use or specific trade licenses are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise multiple crews while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
