Sweet Tooth is a unique practice because we provide both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. This role will primarily lead our orthodontic treatment coordination, but you’ll also learn and support the pediatric side of the practice so our families have a smooth experience from tiny teeth to confident smiles.
We’re looking for someone who is warm, organized, confident with families, and excited to help build a strong ortho experience inside a growing pediatric and orthodontic practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome orthodontic patients and families and help them feel comfortable from the first visit.
- Lead orthodontic consultations by reviewing treatment recommendations, financial options, insurance benefits, and next steps.
- Coordinate new patient exams, records, observation visits, pending treatment, contracts, and starts.
- Follow up with families who are considering treatment and help guide them toward a confident decision.
- Support the orthodontic schedule by helping keep consults, starts, records, and observation visits organized.
- Discuss financial arrangements, payment options, insurance estimates, and patient responsibility with confidence and professionalism.
- Partner closely with the doctors, clinical team, front office, and pediatric team to create a smooth patient experience.
- Help track ortho opportunities, pending treatment, conversion, and follow-up so no smile journey gets left behind.
- Learn and support pediatric front office workflows as needed, including scheduling, patient communication, insurance, and family support.
