- Monitor key maintenance KPIs, including MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and continuously improve equipment reliability while reducing maintenance costs.
- Participate in the installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of new automation equipment.
- Work closely with equipment vendors and engineering teams on system upgrades and process improvements.
- Analyze equipment performance data and recommend energy-saving initiatives and operational optimization projects.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance documentation, and emergency response procedures.
- Provide technical training and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of automation equipment. Promote standardized maintenance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience maintaining automated material handling systems, conveyor systems, or warehouse automation equipment.
- Familiarity with cross-belt sorters, DWS systems, AGVs, barcode scanners, and other logistics automation equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, sensors, drives, and industrial automation.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar engineering software.
- Basic understanding of industrial networking and TCP/IP communication is preferred.
- Must be bilingual in Mandarin and English
- Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining automated logistics equipment, warehouse automation systems, or industrial automation equipment preferred.
- California Electrician Certification or equivalent electrical certification is preferred. Candidates without certification should be willing to obtain the required certification within a reasonable period after hire. OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
