Job duties:
- This role will be an Engineering Lead for a group of platform hardware design engineers. Will be engaged with coordination of platform design activities within a design program. Cross site team communication.
- Development of client motherboard requirement specifications.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all requirements are identified and design expectations are met. Oversee motherboard schematic design and layout.
- Owner of Client platform bring up and silicon debug support.
- Key debug resource for root causing critical platform issues.
- Drive collaboration across the organization to maximize efficiency and lower redundancy.
- Process improvements. Ensures commonality of design and usage of best practices.
Experience And Education
- Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science; 0-2 years of experience in mobile/desktop or server motherboard design; Strong leadership skills with project management experience;
- Background in high speed interface design, PCle, SATA, DP, USB, SPI, LPC, Client processors & chipsets
- Highly motivated and innovative individual with a keen interest in finding and resolving silicon and platform failures
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
